Year 2 Summer 2 Coastline

Year 2 Summer 1 Magnificent Monarchs

Year 2 Spring 2 Rio de Vida

Year 2 Spring 1 Movers and Shakers

Year 2 Autumn 2 Land Ahoy

Year 2 Autumn 1 Street Detectives

We had a fabulous trip to Hartlepool Historic Quay.

We had a fabulous trip to Newcastle! We explored several exhibits in The Hancock Museum and then walked to China Town.  We performed our dragon and Chinese New Year songs at the arch.

We enjoyed learning about the English language, England and eating traditional scones.

We explored the fantastic life and reign of Queen Elizabeth II. Then we designed a commemorative stamp.

Fantastic Street Detectives! We had 2 walks around our locality this term looking for historic clues.  First we went in search of the old train station. We were surprised to only find a few steps and a small part of the platform left.  On our next walk we looked for structures which were older than us. There were lots! We even had time to explore the park!

Wow! We were so lucky to have Clare and her dog Jet visit. She talked about the different jobs and transport the police have.  We discussed what to do in an emergency and had fun trying on some of her uniform.  It was great saying hello and stroking Jet too!
