Our Learning – Autumn 1
Year 5 have had a fantastic start to the new school year, exploring Mexico and South America across lots of our learning. We have created colourful sugar skull artwork, explored Mayan-inspired dance and music, practised gymnastics poses and investigated how different materials react when mixed with water. Our class book, The Explorer by Katherine Rundell, has also taken us on an adventure into the Amazon rainforest and inspired some of our own exciting story writing.
