We had a fantastic afternoon decorating our eggs for Easter. I wonder who will win the competition?
We got to work with an amazing group of animators on our video to explain the benefits of mine water heating and how it works. This was such a fantastic day that none of us will forget!
We were able to plant sunflower seeds and learned about how the mine water could be used to help keep the plants warn efficiently and using a renewable source of energy.
We have had an amazing half term, focusing on the local area and our mining heritage. Below are some images of us learning about the mining area of Horden and creating our own flower pots to grow sunflowers in as part of the Black To Green project.
