Art & Design at Cotsford
At Cotsford Primary all children will have the opportunity to enhance and expand their skills and techniques using a range of media and materials. Primarily following the Kapow scheme of work, the children learn and develop the skills of drawing, painting, working with mixed media, sculpture, 3D and craft work. They will creatively design and make products using a range of media and materials and are given opportunities to explore and evaluate different creative ideas and works of art. Children will be introduced to a range of artists and their artwork and will be able to develop their knowledge of the styles used.
